Role: My role was centered around stakeholder needs analysis, concept exploration, industrial design, and production development.
Challenge: The success of the project depended upon successful integration of electrical and mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and marketing.
Strategy: By defining the market opportunity based on real-world interviews and contextual inquiry, I was able to validate the value proposition early in the development cycle. This enabled the team to focus on bringing the technology to market within a highly compressed six-month development cycle.
Results: Building on Bluetooth LE technology, Lifestyle Connect was unveiled at CES 2012 as the pioneering platform in a now highly competitive market.
